As I took my usual morning walk, something caught my eye near that familiar old shed. There, nestled against the chilly boards, was a tiny, shivering puppy.

His fur was ruffled and he looked so lost, like he just didn't belong here. I crouched down to get a better look, and as our eyes met, I saw just how scared he really was.
